Get to Know Me

I’m Derek Overton — designer, musician, creative lifer.
I’m based just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and I’ve been chasing art in all its forms since I could hold a guitar and open Photoshop.
I’ve been in bands since I was a kid—toured the country, slept on floors, and played with artists I never thought I’d meet, let alone share a stage with.

Back then, we didn’t have money for designers. So I became one. Taught myself everything—merch, posters, branding, the works. That hustle turned into a career, but I never lost the scrappy mindset or the love for making something real.

Now? I design for major bands and artists, churches, nonprofits, small businesses to national brands—whoever’s got a story worth telling. If it’s creative, loud, or a little off the beaten path, I’m in.
